When Flamini left and all we had was a Alex Song to come in, we were in crisis. Now we have lost to the League champions and it's the same. Scum or not, they are champions for a reason. The last time we got beaten (by Chelsea) we went on to drag ourselves back into contention with an excellent winter period. Why can't this happen again?
I understand that not everybody is as smart or rational as everyone else.
Maybe some of these people are being led into wanting Le Boss out by a small few but whatever the reason, you have to be an idiot and/or a twat to want such a thing.
One team wins the league each year.
One team wins the CL every year.
We have no exclusive right to do either but we compete strongly for both most years.
It's always the extremist that shouts the loudest.
If you're lucky enough to to know what's good for our club and remain in support of our footballing dream, the I appeal to you to drown out the idiots that claim to be the voice of all gooners.

Its not a kneejerk reaction we have the same discussions each season and nothing changes.I've supported this club for over 40years and although i now live in the north so don't go to home games anymore i still watch each game ,i personally don't see us being any closer to winning anything.If this remains the same this season how much are you the supporters prepared to wait for success before change has to be made. |

40 years...same here...well 39.........
this is the best position this clubs ever been in.
we waited 19 years before and liverpoo are up to 20 years and men utd went 22 years. |

Sorry i don't agree this club is in a good postion.The best we can finish this season is 2nd or 3rd and probably quarter finalists in the champions league and i suspose if you happy to be an also ran than thats fine.However i believe this club is better than that and probably only needs a couple of purchases for us to reach the top again.Yet we have a manager who wants to do it his way of not spending anything.I here from supporters that he hasn't got the money etc etc ,yet from what i understand AW is given a sum of money each season to cover wages,and transfers.Therefore when he makes a net profit of 20 million in the summer and again refuses to reinvest it on a striker and goalkeeper which a blind man can see we need,we will again remain also rans and not winners.Yes other clubs have waited years for the title success but thats no good reason to follow that same path.Edited on 7/2/2010 15:11 |

If spending is the answer then we're in trouble. There will always be clubs with more spending power.
So you don't think that playing Champions League football every year coming from the most competative league is a good position?
You have to support Man Utd then. Arsenal can't give you what you're looking for. |

highbury44. I do not use this word lightly, but I am afraid you are retarded. look at the trends, the clubs going bust, the last tranfer window. Everyone is spending less. Why will we end up spending like them? City and Chelsea are exceptions. The takeover doesn't mean we will spend loads. And you are a mug. |

Highbury 44 you make some good points but of course receive personal abuse from tj14 high time he was red carded? his latest against me makes tempted to meet him he'd enjoy it and Harry whats your stance?????????
Nice to see mooney make a cracking save against the pool but watching Arsene erupting at Walcotts giving the ball away in the corner with 1 minute to go makes me wish he has at last realised hes a waste of space. well done West. Looks like you have an ally now. The issue I have with you is that you are anti-arsenal. All of your comments on here are of a negative nature. You obviously have an issue with alot of our players. So I don't know why you even bother your arse commenting on them.
As for my comments to Mr 44, maybe the word retarded was too strong. But the point is, he is deluded to think we will suddenly spend millions and get in debt as the mancs and scousers are. The reason people invest in our club is because of how it is run. It is somewhere safe to put your money, as we are not spending it if we dont have it. We are not far off with the squad we have. You look at any other team and they may be strong now, but can you say they will get stronger? Not at all.
Can we get stronger? Yes we can.
